best moments and stuffs

Well hello there today I will be reflecting on the best moments of this year. My favorite moment would be the fair thing that the students run because all my group had to do was take people to their computers and take their money. The fact that we got  to just sit there and help people to play Minecraft. We also had a slender man area in the back bit with the lights off, I didn't do much with it and not many people wanted to play that.

The other thing is to guess where I think and or hope for well what I want would be to go to the strike bowling place because then we could do some bowling play some pool and do laser strike. It would be the best even better than last year.

Next year YR 8

hi every body ( you're supposes say hi Dr Nick) well this week we have to talk about stuff about next year. First is what we want to do or achieve next year well the first thing I want to do is become great at dodge ball just by hitting all the year sevens. Number two is be the person who absolutely hurls the ball at people and doesn't go out by getting hit only by having a failed catch.


What I am looking forward to next year is being the tallest kid in the school I am pretty sure I will be and hope I am. and just the fact about being the year eight in the school and being looked up to literally. and knowing more about things and telling the year sevens how to do things.


Some thing's that could be challenging are trying to remember lots of things and getting everything done. Also being a role model for all the little kids also all the annoying year sevens. for some reason everybody is a lot shorter now because when I was younger every body was so much taller.

these are three of my favourite things about book week

Hey guys its me again today I'll be talking to you about three of my favorite things about book week first was the costume dodge ball all the year eights and sevens did it would have been hard for all the little misses and  Mrs. but the thing about it that I hate was that we didn't get in our second game because of the room eleven and eight for cheating. Which made us go inside, at the time I was at the back getting the balls and missed what happened. Second was the golden ticket finding thing where we checked the blog to see where it is. one of the locations was in a jar of counters. Third is the book quiz in the library because it was just cool to see all the little kids try to guess the answer or actually know the answer.

It felt like this

Book i used to read

Hi this week I'm going to be talking about a book/series I used to read it was Zac Power Test drive it was about this secret agent kid that tested things out for his brother and the agency.
 Zac's moon trip was about him testing out a new space rocket ship thing when he was in space he had to save the agency's moon base that was being eaten by some space fungus that could be killed with his favorite food.


There were quite a few more that I have forgotten what happened in them so I can only talk about Zac's moon trip.

Well it was something but hi anyway so last week/Thursday We were taught how to drop kick the ball which is all right I mean there are better sports *cough* cricket *cough*. This will be a shorter post because it is a topic I couldn't care less about.

We learnt some phrases like laces away from faces or plusses up and down. we learn't to kick with both of our feet.


Well seya I guess like I said a lot smaller than usual.

my favourite thing Kind of

hi so, well this week we were told to write about something that we like or our favorite thing but I have so many that I will pick two. My favorite book/series which is GONE it is amazing and my favorite TV show which is either forever or The Simpsons.


The Simpsons has been going for over thirty years.they have had many famous people go on the show. They have been to so many country's from Japan to Australia where they brought in bull frogs that multiplied a lot.








Forever is the other favorite TV show because it was all about this guy who could live forever. He also had an enemy that had the same thing but he was Julius Cesar.









Gone is my favorite book because it is just so spooky. there is a person that can regrow there own body but is also two people.

Dream job

Hi this week we were told to write about our dream jobs mine, well all I want is a high paying job with nice ours and is exciting. The job I want is to be an accountant it's just a nice high paying job with alright hours, I would have to work 40-45 hours a week.


The subjects I would have to take are business study's, accounting and maybe maths I don't know but anyway. other activities I could do outside of school I don't think there are any but yeah, the reason why I really want it is because in my spare time I can go off and make YouTube videos for people to enjoy. I would spend my money on better equipment and put sound proofing up in the room.


would any of you peeps want to be an accountant (yes or no)?

What I did in my Holidays

Hi and this is feeling like a repeat because I saw two films and just sat on the couch doing nothing important. The two films I went two were pixels it was alright story and all but the next one smash it out of the park. It was The Martian with Matt Damon in it best film in the holidays and maybe ever it beats all the other films I've seen but MI5 was close.


Pixels is a film about the world being attacked by aliens that have taken the form of old retro games like Pacman and duck hunt also Donkey Kong with the hero being mister jumpy man. This film stars Adam Sandler also some other famous people that I don't really know like  Peter Dinklage.

The martian now one of my all time favorite film Matt Damon is one of the pest people to play that role in the film. This movie was all about him getting stuck on mars and the Americans team up with everybody else and go rescue him. he got caught out in a storm and impaled by something. The blood and metal stopped the oxygen to get into the suit and depressurize the suit. He played the role of a botanist so while he waited to be rescued he had to colonize mars (which meant being able to grow food and make it livable)

All the films I saw were great I just liked the Martian more the story was just so good.



Art Again

Hi this week we were told to write about art week and what art we liked well my favorite from our class was of course the X-Wing that got out of control. well I chose the planet scape because it was created by all the Intermediate classes and I helped.




The experience of creating the X-Wing was probably the best thing I've experienced in a long time with art because it was just so much fun to make and do I didn't get to do much of the stuff you can see but what you can't was me and some other people it was how it all came together.

Other Art was a CCCP and USA thing about space our class was set around Space so that means all we could do was space art. We also did own choice art mine was a space cruiser thing with lasers and was sort of collaged with tinfoil.

hi this week we were told to post our favourite poem that we've made this term.

I Hear …

When I think of the beach

I hear

The laughter of kids

As they get caught by the waves.

The sound of shells being broken

Like the sound of cracking plastic.

The waves crashing into the shore

Like a pack or rhinos running along.

Screams as kids crash, crushing shells.

People yelling

The voices bouncing like a beach ball.

The waves as they came down

And wash away the day

People start to leave.

The birds singing out

With no more noise.

This is the poem I have chosen it is one of my favourites because I like some of the words and some of the features I have used like similes. my favourite line would have to be The sound of shells being broken Like the sound of cracking plastic. I like this one because it just sounds so realistic to me at least.

Hi this week this week we were told to write about one of our favorite artist J.M.W turner is my favorite artist because his art is so in depth and beautiful.
Joseph Mallord William Turner was born on April 23 1775 in London . He died on December 19 1851.
This is my favorite piece and it is called The Fighting Temeraire. Mainly because of the sky and how it was done It was made with oil paint. The thing that gave him this idea was The Fighting Temeraire which in this picture is being tugged into harbor. What I like about this is how its so beautiful.
This one is called slave ship again my favorite bit is the sky the reason I like him is because he does sky's so well. This one was painted with oil paints like the other. In this painting it shows slaves that are dead or dying being thrown over board and a typhoon coming. The reasons why I like this one is because it shows the times that he was in really well. The other reason is because the waves look so well.

Sports Fest

Tuesday 25th August. Pre Sports Fest
Hi so this post is about before the sports fest. What I'm looking forward to is playing table tennis with my team and seeing how we do. What I can do for my team is play my best and be supportive if we have a big fail. Also be nice to the other teams unless they get annoying then I will bring out my big serve.


Wednesday 26th August. After Sports Fest
Well our team came eighth out of eleven teams (really just eight because the girls were separate). I stopped our team from getting thrashed by beating one person where everybody else had lost it was a close match but I still won. Another thing is it was during the playoffs I was beating this guy so hard that it was going to be 0/11 but I let him have one point so it was 1/11 then I won the match. What I did to help my team was well saving us from getting thrashed but I won matches that the others hadn't. The venue was good so everyone was playing or doing something else like umpiring and the organization was good they taught you how to play better. Suggestions for next year would be have it somewhere different so you can fit them all in and not have to go running round tables to get the ball. Another suggestion is have more people there helping out not just parents and like three other people.

New Zealand Flag Change

Hello this week we were told to write about New Zealand changing its flag.

The top four I would choose out of the top forty would have to be the one to the left is my first choice because I like the silver fern on it. Then the one next to it is second on my list because it shows that it represents New Zealand. The one on the far right isn't my favourite but its better than others Its not first because its not super representing New Zealand. Then the last one I chose is because it sort of looked like the old one but with a Maori.



A reason for changing the flag is because it doesn't come round every day and it looks to much like the Australian flag.

A reason against is because people have fought under that flag and one medals under that flag.

My opinion is change the flag but to something good that I would go under if not then hello America Stars and stripes all the way across the sky.
