Medieval week (great banter)

Hi sorry for it being a bit late this week but things got in the way with having to read the production script and all I didn't really give myself much time to do this (my blog). I'm here this week to talk about medieval week and how banterous it was with the Minecraft role-play and all with me being the baron of the land.

What went well, well I would say bouncing back after not having one person who had lots of information went well. (this was the shortest one and I don't know why, so I am writing this to make it look longer :p  )

First question of the week is How do I think my lesson went. Well I feel my group did quite good with having one less person *cough* Katherine *cough* *cough*. creating the quiz we did was quite fun even though some things went wrong in that it went well.


What could have been done better? well the thing is I think the quiz could have been done a bit better but I can't really tell what could have been done better because I was doing it and make it sound glorified so it would be more fair to ask the people that we were teaching.
What other lessons did I enjoy, Well I enjoyed the trading game that I would say was my favorite one because it was really fun because they had all the little descriptions on them which changed the price of the completely. Then it would have to be..... um....... um........ the food one was quite interesting even though I barely participated in the activity which was eating some of the foods I gagged quite a bit when I ate one of the items and they said there would be nothing bad.

Kapa Haka

Hello this week I will be talking about kapa haka and the levels of cringe that come with it. my participation I feel is good because of some of the time some people just do something really strange and it makes everyone cringe so much.

What am I finding easy.. well I think I'm finding the singing the easiest because I like singing but I don't feel I'm good at it. I like singing in Maori because it just flows nicely and I like rolling my R's when I speak another language that isn't English.

What am I finding difficult... well I feel the timing and knowing the moves because of the feeling that it isn't the right thing to do but I always try my hardest.

How could I work on my performance... well I think I could work on my timing and learning the moves more mainly my timing though.

Sorry for it being such a short post this week its because their weren't many questions.

Medieval Minecraft (I built A castle)

Hello this week I will be taking about our medieval Minecraft world we are doing this because we want to learn about what the buildings were like and how they were made. I feel that our village is historically correct (some of it at least) I feel that the houses look like they're made out of wattle and daub.

The part that I like best about doing this is building in Minecraft as a class and learning about the castles (I'm building the castle). One annoying thing is the people who don't really want to be playing just dig holes in the ground and make it kind of annoying.

I think we still need to work on the houses and shops and things because some of the houses aren't very realistic the Inn needs a bit of work.

Two things I'm going to work on next are the defences for the castle because the only defences are one wall and a town of people and a little stream running next to it. The other thing I'm going to work on are the interiors of the castle and the towers in the corners (that are circular I'm proud of myself).
